Friday evening November 5th, Elliott Equipment Company employees gathered to celebrate 40 years of service to the solid waste and municipal industries.
Founders Glen & Eilene Elliott were surprised by the gathering,engineered by CEO/President Gene Elliott and his wife Dalena. The culmination of months of plannng took place at the Figge Art Museum, dowtown Davenport, Iowa.

In attendance were emploees and wives from the four locations, Davenport, Iowa, Grimes, Iowa, Lincoln, Nebraska and Elliott's new location Grandview, Missouri, opened recently.

After a great dinner, CEO/President Gene Elliott had a few remarks noting the history of the company.
Along with his comments, he had prepared a power point presentation reviewing the growth of the company started by Glen and Eilene Elliott in 1970. Each of the employees were recognized for their time of service with the company. They ranged from several months to 30 years of service,David Leach, Service Mgr at the Davenport location.

The highlight of the presentations was the unveiling of a special oil painting presented to Glen and Eilene depicting the 40 year history of the company.

Founder Glen Elliott spoke recounting some of his experiences and expressed his thanks to all those who attended.
CEO/President Gene closed the evening of festivities with a summary of his hopes and goals for Elliott Equipment Company in the future.
