Since 1970, Elliott Equipment Company has represented only the nations premier manufacturers of solid waste equipment. Glen Elliott recognized the need for a reliable source for good quality municipal and solid waste equipment not present in Iowa. Elliott Equipment Company evolved with the industry and has grown into a nationally recognized supplier. Private contractors, industrial and municipal customers agree that the lines of solid waste, recycling and municipal equipment represented are reliable and the after sale support is second to none. Glen Elliott began his business representing just rear load garbage trucks ,street sweepers and sand spreaders out of Fairfield, Iowa. In 1971 he relocated to Davenport, Iowa. 1986 he established a second location in Des Moines, Iowa and in 1995 opened a third office and shop in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Elliott Equipment Company continues to grow and has a national and an international list of customers. Elliott Equipment Company has fully trained service personnel and complete line of replacement parts at each location. The types of solid waste equipment includes new and used rear load and front load garbage trucks, automated and manual side load garbage trucks, roll-off trucks, hook lift trucks, recycling trucks, refuse containers, refuse compaction equipment, recycling equipment, street sweepers, sewer cleaners, sewer jets, sewer televising equipment and brush chippers. Elliott Equipment offers rebuilding services and maintains a varied inventory of quality used waste and municipal equipment at all times.
Elliott Equipment Company has established its self as the premier supplier of new and used industrial and solid waste equipment in the Midwest. The list of solid waste and industrial equipment manufacturers include New Way, Galbreath, Labrie, Kann Mfg, K-Pac, Par-Kan, Nedland Industries, Tymco, Vac-Con, Aries, Schaefer Carts, American Baler and Sewer Equipment Company of America. In 2005 Elliott Equipment expanded into industrial plant services equipment by adding Advance in plant scrubbers and sweepers and American-Lincoln in plant scrubbers and sweepers.
